New Fashionista Alert! Lupita Nyong’o makes red carpet looks easy…

With award season underway for the year 2014, there is only one person at the top of this year’s best dressed lists across the nation. The “12 Years a Slave” star Lupita Nyong’o is taking style simplicity to a whole new level! Rocking a natural tapered coif, and sometimes embellished with a gorgeous hair candy, styled by no other than…Yes! Ted Gibson! I so love his work, and by the way he also styles with the same notion “simple beauty” they mesh well together.

Lupita stepped onto the red carpet of the Golden Globes wearing a beautifully made red caped dress by Ralph Lauren, she was perfect. Not sure who her stylist is but I know they have definitely made his or her mark on the red carpet. (By the way, I’m searching for her stylist :-))
At the SAG awards, Lupita wore a well tailored teal/turquoise dressed with a floral neckline designed by Gucci. She looked absolutely stunning as she gave her acceptance speech after winning “Best Supporting Actress” for her role.
At the Producers Guild Awards, she graced the red carpet in a simple yet chic nude colored Stella McCartney dress and Stella McCartney sandals. She definitely knows how to wear a dress while opting to keep accessories to a minimum.

Lupita Nyong’o is my best dressed for 2014! I can’t wait to see more of her style for the seasons to come. In the meantime, you can follow her on social site! I wonder if she’s going to the Grammy’s! Lol Well, I’ll be watching to find out. The Grammy Awards air this Sunday Jan. 26. Check your local guide for times & channels.

Til next time
xoxo Shar
